Bethel Farm Mill is located in the idyllic town of Bingara NSW in the northwest slopes of New South Wales Australia. Situated beside the everflowing Gwydir River and slumbering beneath the heights of the Great Dividing Range.
Bingara is a very warm and welcoming town with a strong community spirit and a great social life. It is also adjacent to the Golden Triangle which is arguably one of the richest grain producing districts in the world and from our point of view makes it ideal to source the finest grains in the country.
Visitors to Bingara will always find accommodation at Bingara at the Imperial Hotel where you will find a family restaurant with a fine range of great food. Your host Eric will always make you feel welcome and comfortable.
If you prefer you can camp outside of town on the Gwydir River on the road going to Copeton Dam. Make sure you see the fabulous Roxy Theatre…a genuine arte deco theatre completely restored. I mean this is an absolutely fabulous theatre in mint condition, It is breathtakingly beautiful.
Right beside the theatre is an old time Greek cafe…Peters Cafe. Great food with a gourmet continental menu. Jamie and Clare provide really fine food at incredibly reasonable prices.
While you are there, you might like to take a tour of the old theatre and the museum. Bingara is a very social place and several times each year the street is blocked off and the whole town turns out to view our own parade.
The orange festival is lots of fun with everyone participating…from farmers to preschoolers. You might see the Salvation Army Band playing.
We look forward to seeing around Bingara very soon…. its a great town.
